The Monastery is located in 10 km to the north from Paphos if to go on road to Polis. St. Neofytos was born in 1134 in the area of Lefkarty and it is known as the author of religious products and historical chronicles who and until are considered as sources of our knowledge of events of that time when Cyprus Byzantines where the owners.
